  • To provide the volunteers with the opportunity to serve real communities in a developing country while improving their spanish language ability and getting to know the Peru.
  • To implement the international rights related to child developement.
  • To improve the quality of education in deprived areas of Peru.
  • To explore the use of information and communication technologies for social development.
  • To provide volunteers the opportunity to explore the Peruvian culture through cultural activites and excursions.

About Us

  • We are a local organisation run by locals and have a small and effective staff, who are in charge of all organisational and administrative duties. We work as a small group of people, not as a large organization or with big groups.
  • Our way of operating is informal, yet well organized. We prefer to maintain a low-budget, non-bureaucratic style in order to offer very low program fees to volunteers.
  • Mosoq Ayllu is an intermediate service between the community and the volunteers. There are no legal obligations among the parties, no contracts. Volunteers sign a General Agreement and disclaimer at the beginning, but they can terminate their work at any time. However there exists an important relationship of trust and commitment between the volunteer and the community.
  • Mosoq Ayllu is not a member of any political, religious, commercial or any other type of organization. In the same way, we do not accept the appropriation of Mosoq Ayllu´s name or infrastructure for public campaigns or the promotion of any ideological movement.
  • We are an open-minded group where volunteers from different backgrounds can live and work together regardless of their beliefs
  • We try to avoid unnecessary paperwork and utilize the Internet as much as possible in our communications.
  • The organization has a self-support policy. Our administrative expenses are covered through volunteers. We do not depend on official funds or public programs.
