Volunteering at orphanageS

Many of the orphans have come from homes of domestic violence, many of them don't have any relatives. Poverty nowadays leaves many children abandoned. These orphanages in Peru provide orphans with daily meals, a bed and schooling but they also need love, time and attention from other people.

Depending on your own skills and interests, you can teach songs, music, dance, cooking, or any number of activities, or generally just spend quality time with the children.

As a volunteer you will work at the orphanage from Monday to Friday, mornings or/and afternoons. AnylSpanish level is required for applying.

Minimum term of commitment is 1 week.

Positions available at: Huancayo, San Ramon (jungle), Trujillo(check if available), Chiclayo (check if available).

In Huancayo, the volunteers help at these orphanages :

- CocoCoto : children between 0 months to 17 years

- Inabif : boys between 6 and 17 years

- Francisca Mayer : girls between 4 and 16 years

While volunteering an optional Spanish lessons are offered to those volunteers who want to improve their Spanish
