Volunteering at "children of the brick mountain"

Our first classroom is now being used by a program of the ministry of education named "PIETBAF" which provives teachers who work with children form 0 to 4 years old in early development for free but they request a classroom that's why mosoq ayllu gave this classroom while this program take place . Currently, Mosoq Ayllu volunteers can volunteer here helping the staff .

Ladrillera 2 :

In this community of brick manufacturing mountain, children go to school in the morning or in the afternoon from March to December and in January and February. Some of them go to work with their parents one part of the day and then meet later with volunteers to do their homework.

The childrens´ parents work in the all day in this place and expect some amount of assistence from their children. The pressures of work, school, and family are tangible for the kids. Sometimes the students face precarious domestic situations and depend on the support of the volunteers and our program. The kids who attend here are generally motivated and appreciate guidance. Mosoq Ayllu just has done one of our biggest aspirations which is to build a second classroo and a room for doctors to examine children and parents. The community provided the property and Mosoq ayllu Provided the materials and the payment to the workers. this dream came true and our program have an own place for volunteers develop all kind of projects that may improve the living conditions and the education of this children and their families
